Average personnel costs were EUR 34 300 per employee, which is also quite close to the non-financial business economy average (EUR 35 500 per employee). The apparent labour productivity of the EU’s transportation and storage services sector in 2018 was EUR 47 000 per person employed, quite close to the non-financial business economy average (EUR 50 700 per person employed). Several indicators based on labour input show the transportation and storage services sector to be quite typical, when compared with the non-financial business economy as a whole.
